Bluehole will be including the long anticipated vaulting and climbing features into its PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds test servers in early November. This will be followed by at least two more patches, which are also due to roll out on test servers before the planned 1.0 launch at the end of the year.

According to a post on its PUBG Steam page, Bluehole has said that the vaulting and climbing mechanics will need at least three days of extensive testing, and it’s encouraging as many players as possible to take part in this process.

The PUBG developer also said that it’s ‘been working diligently’ to officially release by the end of the year. Bluehole said that players ‘will be able to experience bug fixes, optimisation, and many other improvements in the test servers that will be run prior to the official release,’

It continued, saying that, ‘as stated before, it is not always easy to merge the changes to our live build, because our development build and live build are separate.’ Bluehole said in closing that it has ‘decided to merge improvements, bug fixes, and other features, all at once to the test servers, which will then be implemented cumulatively for the 1.0 release.’ This means that those who play in the test servers will be able to put the game through its paces before PUBG officially gets upgraded to 1.0.

The full patch notes can be found on the PUBG Steam page.
