Sony Online Entertainment is adopting a free-to-play model for its MMO Vanguard.
The game follows in the footsteps of many other SOE titles, from EverQuest to EverQuest II, which have recently made the change-over in business model.
SOE states that users should look at the free-to-play conversion of its previous F2P converts for an idea of how Vanguard will be making the transition.
Writing in their March 2012 Producer Letter, SOE add that the firm has assembled a new team to work behind the MMO and produce more frequent updates, general improvements, and new content.
