Hardsuit Labs is officially developing Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, publisher Paradox Interactive announced at the Game Developers Conference 2019 this week.

The sequel, which was teased by Paradox via an ARG called Tender earlier this year, will launch on PC and consoles in 2020, and is a follow-up to 2004's much-loved Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines. The sequel will see Brian Mitsoda, a key member of the original's production team, returning to work as lead narrative designer on Bloodlines 2.

'Our aim has been to carry on the signature themes that made Bloodlines unique,' he said, 'particularly its dark tone, atmosphere, and humor – and I think that fans of the original will love what we’re doing with Bloodlines 2.'

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 will utilise Paradox Plaza for full mod support, and has been in development for four years now. Check out the debut trailer below.
