A updated look at Valve’s virtual reality headset has been published on Reddit, posted by a user who was invited to a Valve get-together in Boston.
Reddit user jonomf posted the image you can see on this page, but also offered some impressions of how the device is shaping up.
Summing up, jonomf wrote: “The experience in the HMD is amazing: low persistence, perfect tracking (within the camera of course), very high frame rate.”
jonomf also mentioned several Dota 2 VR experiences including being placed in a game lane watching the heroes fight.
Release plans for both the headset and supported games remain unclear.
