Valve has today released the first trailer for Dota 2, in anticipation of the International Dota 2 Championships, which are set to take place during gamescom from August 17-21.
The International welcomes 16 of the best Dota teams in the world to compete in the Dota 2 Championships through a group stage, double elimination play-off format over the course of Cologne’s five-day trade and consumer show.
The trailer itself lets gamers experience the world and heroes of Dota 2 through the narrative of the game’s colourful shopkeeper.
Dota 2 is expected to release on PC and Mac OS in late 2011.
