Fans of Riot’s free-to-play FPS are asking when is the Valorant Team Deathmatch release date as the popular game finally gets the fan-requested mode in patch 7.0

As first announced last week, the long-awaited mode will come alongside three custom maps and challenge players to be the first team to reach 100 kills. It’s sure to change up the regular style of Valorant play, and introduce a whole new wave of players keen to see what all the fuss has been about. With new mechanics like weapon spawners, recovery orbs and more, expect to develop an entirely new set of tactics as you take on the new challenge.

The Valorant Team Deathmatch release date is set to kick off on Tuesday, June 27. That’ll come alongside the game’s 7.0 update, also known as Act 7 Episode 1.

On launch, here’s the three brand new custom maps you can expect to be playing in Valorant’s new Team Deathmatch mode.

  • District
  • Kasbah

Valorant Team Deathmatch Rules:

  • Matches are 9 minutes and 30 seconds long, split into four stages.
  • Respawn frequency is 1.5 seconds
  • First to 100 kills wins
  • 1000XP granted per match played
