MTV has the exclusive reveal of 50 Cent: Blood on the Sand, a new action video game starring the hip-hop superstar, currently in development for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

According to MTV, 50 Cent fans can expect a much better game than the pretty disappointing Bulletproof.

“Once we get the game out there… I think people will realise right away where our focus for the sequel is,” Vivendi Games producer Aaron Blean told MTV News. “We’ve emphasised the gameplay quality [more] than anything this time around. We can’t wait to show the game around.”

Blood on the Sand is being created using the Unreal Engine 3 and will focus on cooperative play, with an AI or human controlled buddy tagging along with 50 Cent as he takes down international gangsters. The second character will be a member of G-Unit, with Tony Yayo, Whoo Kid or Lloyd Banks – each specialising in different combat techniques – all confirmed.

Blean says the game is inspired by movies Three Kings and Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, and notes that 50 Cent has played a big part in the game’s creation.

Bulletproof was packed with music and video content and Blood on the Sand promises to include even more content for 50 Cent fans to enjoy.

“50 is going to create exclusive tracks for the game that you can only listen to in the game,” said Blean, calling the title the “ultimate 50 Cent experience.”

50 Cent: Blood on the Sand is currently scheduled for release this autumn for Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
