Windows 10 will be updated today to enable support for unlocked framerates and AMD Freesync/NVIDIA G-SYNC in Universal Windows Platform games and apps.

Applications must also support the features so you’ll need to wait for individual updates, with Gears of War Ultimate and Forza 6: Apex expected to patch-in the features “in the very near future”.

Also on the horizon is support for multiple GPUs in DX12.
