Sony Pictures Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune movie has lost director Neil Burger (Limitless), reports Variety.
No reason for Burger’s departure from the project has been given.
And it appears Sony isn’t happy with the current state of the script, ordering a rewrite from scribes Marianne and Cormac Wibberley, who were the team responsible for Disney’s National Treasure franchise.
There are no plans to bring in a new director until the new script is complete.
