Sony Pictures Entertainment is reported to be in negotiations with Seth Gordon to helm the in-development live action adaptation of Sony Computer Entertainment’s Uncharted.

Gordon shot to fame with his acclaimed documentary King of Kong and went on to direct Horrible Bosses and Identity Thief.

Previous directors attached to the Uncharted project include American Hustle’s David O. Russell and Elysium’s Neil Burger.

The project is still to find an actor to take on the role of series protagonist Nathan Drake.

A new Uncharted Game is currently in development for PS4.
