The spectacular airplane boarding sequence in this summer’s Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation was inspired by Uncharted 3, director Christopher McQuarrie has revealed.
The scene sees Ethan Hunt climb on board a plane as it is taking off. Asked on Twitter how this sequence was conjured up, McQuarrie said: “Group effort/Uncharted.”
Uncharted 3 co-director Justin Richmond replied: “You just made my month.”
