A listing for the ‘Ultimate Far Cry Compilation’ has appeared on GAME’s website.
According to the retailer, the collection is due for release on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC later this year, and will cost £39.99 on console and £29.99 on PC.
It’s unclear, however, which games the compilation will include.
Far Cry 2 and Far Cry 3 are almost certainly a given, given their initial multiformat release. But whether a console port of the original Far Cry or a PS3 & PC port of Xbox 360 shooter Far Cry Instincts Predator will also be included is currently unknown.
The latest Far Cry game, Far Cry 3, launched in November to widespread critical acclaim, landing itself a runner up position in VideoGamer.com’s Game of the Year awards.
VideoGamer.com has contacted Ubisoft for comment.
