GfK ChartTrack reports that Nintendo’s Wii Sports Resort has reclaimed the All Formats All Prices No.1 spot, pipping Activision’s Wolfenstein by 2,000 sales.
Wii Sports Resorts’ rise back to the No.1 spot means Nintendo games have now achieved 15 weeks at the top of the All Formats Chart so far this year.
Wolfenstein takes the No.1 position on the PS3, 360 and PC charts and is joined in the Top 10 by Activision’s Call of Duty: World at War (No.5) and Prototype (No.10). Nintendo’s Wii Fit and Mario Kart Wii each only slip one place to No.4 and No.7 respectively.
The big release to look out for next week is Square Enix’s Batman: Arkham Asylum which seems a dead cert for the No.1 spot. It’s also likely that Codemasters’ Ashes Cricket 2009 will benefit from England winning the Ashes series.
