Vice City Stories fractionally outsold GRAW 2

Having spent only a solitary week at the top of the chart, Ubisoft’s Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 drops one place to No.2 with Rockstar’s GTA: Vice City Stories taking the top spot by only 200 sales.

Final Fantasy XII is also forced down a place to No.3, while Sonic and the Secret Rings holds strong at No.4 and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 07 climbs to No.5 thanks to the newly released Wii version.

Other new entries include Atari’s Test Drive Unlimited at No.7 (No.2 in the PS2 chart), Disney Interactive’s Spectrobes at No.23 and EA’s SSX Blur on Wii at No.28.

The long awaited European release of the PlayStation 3 takes place on Friday so expect its heavy hitters such as MotorStorm, Resistance: Fall of Man, Virtua Fighter 5, Ridge Racer 7 and Formula One to feature prominently in the chart.

The onslaught of PS3 titles are also joined by a host of other games, making the coming week one of the busiest on the 2007 UK gaming calendar. Expect Virtua Tennis 3, Brian Lara International Cricket 2007, Burnout Dominator, Def Jam: Icon, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and UEFA Champions League 2006-2007 to feature somewhere in the chart.
