Lara hangs on for another week

Despite falling sales, Lara’s latest adventure still held a comfortable 28,000 unit lead over Ice Age 2: Meltdown, which continued to thrive over the Easter period. Animal Crossing moves up to third, with FIFA Street 2, The Godfather, and Football Manager 2006 each slipping one place down to fourth, fifth, and sixth respectively.

There are plenty of new releases this week, but only SOCOM 3 manages a place in the top 20, placing at No.17. Other new entries include SOCOM: US Navy SEALs Fireteam Bravo on the PSP (No.29), Rogue Trooper (No.31), Final Fantasy XI: Treasures of Aht Urhgan (No.34), Final Fantasy XI on Xbox 360 (No.37), and Tetris DS at a disappointing No.39.

Next week expect EA’s 2006 FIFA World Cup Germany to dominate the chart, with Black & White 2: Battle of the Gods and Guild Wars: Factions also likely to place well.
