GfK ChartTrack reports that Toy Story 3 saw a 78 per cent rise in sales week-on-week to claim the UK video game chart No.1 spot.

Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption climbed two places to No.2, moving Ubisoft’s Dance on Broadway down a spot to No.3, followed by Lego Harry Potter and Tiger Woods PGA Tour 11.

The week’s only new entry is Square Enix/Nintendo’s Dragon Quest IX new at No.9, while Microsoft’s Xbox 360 exclusive Crackdown 2 slumps from the top spot all the way down to No.10.

There’s next to no chance that the toys will hold at at the top next week, not with Blizzard’s StarCraft II hitting stores tomorrow. Expect records to be smashed.
