With an 83% increase in sales over week one, Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End steals the No.1 spot from Activision’s Spider-Man 3, and tops the PS3, PSP and Xbox 360 charts.

Eidos Interactive’s Tomb Raider: Anniversary enters at No.2 in the All Formats, but does manage to claim the top spot in the PlayStation 2 chart. Despite success for Disney, Activision and Eidos, it’s Nintendo which continues to be most represented in the Top 10. Mario Strikers Charged Football is at No.4, followed by Wii Play at No.6, Cooking Mama at No.7 and Brain Training at No.8.

Microsoft’s Shadowrun for Xbox 360 and Games for Windows is the second highest new entry at No.11, but with no single-player mode to speak of and no support for Windows XP the game could drop some places next week.

Friday sees the release of Forza Motorsport 2 for Xbox 360 and should easily take the No.1 spot in the Xbox 360 chart, but will be hard pressed to dislodge the multiplatform giants atop the All Formats. Also new is Halo 2 for Windows Vista, Marvel Trading Card Game (PC and PSP) and Wartech Senko No Rondo for Xbox 360.
