It’s the calm before the storm with Sniper Elite V2 spending a second week at the top of the All Formats All Prices UK Video Game chart, with an impressive 38 per cent drop in sales week-on-week.
FIFA Street is up two places to No.2 with a 10 per cent boost in sales, whilst FIFA 12 takes third place. Prototype 2 slips to No.4 on its third week in the chart. There’s little movement in the rest of the Top 10.
The big new release was supposed to be Sony’s PS3 exclusive Starhawk, but the multiplayer title could only manage a debut at No.17, and is sure to slip further into obscurity with Max Payne 3 in stores this week.
Deep Silver’s Back to the Future: The Game is the only other new entry at No.38.

Diablo III and Max Payne 3 are set to storm next week’s chart, but which will come out on top? We reckon it will be Rockstar’s long-awaited sequel, but only by virtue of its multiplatform retail release, with Blizzard’s mouse-clicking RPG limited by its guaranteed digital popularity.
