GfK ChartTrack reports that Rockstar Games’ Red Dead Redemption has made it three weeks straight at the top of the All Formats All Prices UK video game chart.

Despite a 22 per cent fall in sales week on week, Rockstar’s latest holds a considerable lead over the chasing pack with sales greater than the combined total of games placed No.2 to No.7.

EA’s 2010 FIFA World Cup climbs a placed to No.2, UFC 2010 is down to No.3 and Just Dance is a non-mover at No.4. The Sims 3: Ambitions is the week’s highest new entry at No.6, while DS puzzler Rooms: The Main Building begins its chart run at No.12.

Elsewhere, Activision’s Blur improves on its debut, moving up four places to No.10.

Red Dead Redemption will have to go some to claim a fourth week at the top, with Nintendo’s Super Mario Galaxy 2 arriving on Friday. Also hitting stores is Green Day: Rock Band, which will have Top 10 aspirations.
