Nintendo’s Pokemon White Version has stormed to the top of the All Formats All Prices video game chart, sneaking ahead of Pokemon Black Version.

EA’s Fight Night Champion is new at No.3, meaning last week’s FPS heavy-hitters slip down the chart – Bulletstorm dropped to No.5, while Killzone 3 slumped from its No.1 perch to No.5.

Elsewhere, Dawn of War II: Retribution begins its life at No.17 and ambitious MMO Rift is at No.19.

We’d thought the split SKU for Pokemon Black and White might prevent it from claiming the top spot, but it seems the pull of the cute pocket monsters remains strong.

We’re also surprised to see Fight Night Champion charting above the second week totals of Bulletstorm and Killzone, with Killzone’s drop in particular showing worrying signs that the FPS sequel won’t have long legs.

Next week we expect BioWare’s Dragon Age II to claim the top spot, and it’s got a remarkably easy time of it, too. The action RPG sequel is the only console game of note hitting stores on Friday.
