505 Games’ Zumba Fitness continues to show other games how it’s done, recording its second highest sales week since its launch 31 weeks ago thanks to a 33 per cent increase in sales.

The fitness craze managed to outsell the next three titles combined. LA Noire climbed two places to No.2, F.E.A.R. 3 is a new entry at No.3 and DiRT 3 moves up to No.4. LEGO Pirates is also up, now at No.5.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D takes a massive 69 per cent sales drop and slumps from No.2 to No.6, FIFA 11 moves up to No.7, Duke Nukem Forever slides to No.8, Brink is still clinging on to a Top 10 place at No.9 and Top Spin 4 makes the most of Wimbledon fever to record an impressive 98 per cent sales increase to chart at No.10.

Also new this week are Activision’s Transformers: Dark of the Moon at No.17 and EA’s Shadows of the Damned at No.31. The former is likely to benefit from the onslaught of movie marketing this week.

Friday sees Resident Evil Mercenaries 3D arrive for 3DS, but we’re unconvinced gamers will see much value in the game based on the so-so bonus game modes found in Resident Evil 4 and 5. Also new is THQ’s UFC Personal Trailer, and it will be interesting to see if its male audience is as welcoming as those picking up Zumba Fitness in their droves.

There’s also no sign of an upturn in sales for SEGA’s Child of Eden, dropping ten places to No.35. Red Faction: Armageddon also looks set for a rapid chart exit, slumping from No.12 to No.32.
