With sales of both Pokemon titles falling 40%, it’s Transformers which continues its hold at the top. Pokemon Diamond holds onto its place at No.2, but Pearl is starting to feel the heat and falls from No.3 to No.7.

Despite the Pokemon sales drop, the Top Ten is still heavily dominated by Nintendo platform exclusives: Wii Play (No.3), More Brain Training (No.4), Mario Party 8 (No.5), Brain Training (No.8), Cooking Mama (No.9) and New Super Mario Bros. (No.10). Big Brain Academy: Wii Degree slides nine places from No.7 to No.16.

The week’s highest new-entry from a new release is Trauma Center: Second Opinion from Nintendo at No.17, and it’s also a good week for Ubisoft’s Surf’s Up, which enters the Top 40 for the first time at No.11.

Don’t expect much to change next week, given that the only new release hitting stores is Premier Manager 08 for PC and PS2.
