Nintendo is preparing for what is likely to be a bumper week in Wii sales thanks to the imminent release of Wii Fit, but it can also celebrate a second week at the top of the All Formats All Prices chart, with Mario Kart Wii dropping only 22% of sales from its record setting first week.

Following Mario Kart Wii is Mario & Sonic at the Olympic Games, Gran Turismo 5: Prologue, PES 2008 and SEGA Superstars Tennis. You need to go down to No.8 to find the week’s highest new entry in the form of EA’s UEFA Euro 2008. Other new entries include The Sims 2: Kitchen & Bath Interior Design Stuff at No.20 and PS3 light gun shooter Time Crisis 4 at No.24.

Of the new titles out this Friday it’s the aforementioned Wii Fit which is most likely to replace Mario Kart Wii at the top of the pack. We don’t expect the Balance Board equipped title to hold on for long though, with Grand Theft Auto IV almost certain to storm to the top of the chart the following week.
