InFamous: Second Son becomes the first PS4-only All Formats All Prices UK No.1, but is actually only the second biggest week one for PS4, behind Killzone: Shadow Fall back at launch.

The first inFamous title debuted at No.5 back in week 22 of 2009, whilst inFamous 2 charted at No.4 in week 23 of 2011.

Konami’s Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes is new at No.2, with PS4 taking a huge 58 per cent of all sales. Xbox One accounted for 20 per cent, PS3 15 per cent and Xbox 360 just 7 per cent.

The new releases force EA’s Titanfall down to No.3 which saw sales drop a hefty 73 per cent.

Square Enix’s Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster is new at No.4, followed by South Park: The Stick of Truth at No.5. FIFA 14 sticks at No.6 and Dark Souls 2 slides five places to No.7.

Sony will be pretty pleased with the performance of inFamous: Second Son, but MGS5 Ground Zeroes launching in second even though it appears on four formats must go down as a blow for Konami. Although, some may argue that selling a glorified demo and earning a No.2 chart position is a great bit of business by Konami.

Diablo 3: Reaper of Souls launches tomorrow, but digital sales may prevent the game from charting at No.1 in the retail charts this time next week. Also coming to stores are Professor Layton vs. Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney on 3DS, and a pair of Invizimals titles for PS3 and PS Vita.
