Potter fever may have grabbed the movie-going public by the neck, refusing to let go, but there's no sign of this washing over gamers; Harry Potter & the Deathly Hallows Part 2 debuted at No.7 in the All Formats All Prices UK video game chart and recorded the lowest ever week-one sales for a Harry Potter video game.

505 Games' Zumba Fitness holds on at No.1, recording its eighth week at the top since the launch of the Wii game earlier this year.

Activision's Transformers: Dark of the Moon continues to perform well despite poor reviews of both the video game and accompanying movie, climbing one place to No.2. Codemasters' DiRT 3 falls one place to No.3, while Call of Duty: Black Ops climbs to No.4.

Both LA Noire and FEAR 3 take hefty falls, down to No.13 and No.18 respectively, while Sony's inFamous 2 slips to No.22.

SEGA's Captain America: Super Solider failed to make the Top 40, but could find an audience once the movie hits cinemas on July 29.

Perhaps the very poor Harry Potter & The Deathly Hallows Part 1 has deterred Potter fanatics from picking up the new game - itself only marginally better than what came before. Either that, or gamers are waiting for their film fix before reliving the experience in video game form.

Next week's chart is likely to feature both Disney's Cars 2 and the budget priced EDF: Insect Armageddon from Namco Bandai. Neither is likely to dislodge Zumba, but the strong reviews and a wallet-friendly RRP could help EDF into the Top 10.

Ubisoft's Call of Juarez: The Cartel also hits stores on Friday, but we're not convinced its modern-day spin will act in its favour when the market is already flooded with such titles, and of a higher quality too.
