The Full Price chart seen above doesn’t help clarify matters, but it’s not often that a game as massive as GTA: Liberty City Stories is released at a budget price point. Available for less than £20, Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories doesn’t feature in the Full Price chart, but its sales, combined with those of the PSP version, place it above New Super Mario Bros, which sits pretty at the top of the Full Price chart. Mario holds off strong competition from Activision’s Over The Hedge, which climbs up the chart thanks to the exposure gained from the film.

The chart’s highest new entries come from Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest, which enters at No.5, and the Xbox 360 exclusive mech combat title Chromehounds, entering at No.7. Over G, last week’s new entry from the Xbox 360 camp, also continues to sell reasonably well only falling a few places to No.12.

New releases hoping to shake up the chart next week include the PC and Xbox 360 FPS Prey, EA’s The Battle for Middle Earth II on Xbox 360, the multi-format release of the movie tie-in Cars, and Pirates of the Caribbean: Legend of Jack Sparrow on PS2.
