Forza 2 has got off to an excellent start, pulling ahead of the competition and entering the All Formats chart at No.1. Turn 10’s racing simulation has become the third fastest selling game on the Xbox 360, behind Gears of War and Pro Evolution Soccer 6, and the fourth fastest selling game this year on all formats.

Tomb Raider: Anniversary holds onto No.2, but only 1,000 units stand between Lara and Captain Jack Sparrow at No.3 with Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End. Spider-Man 3 slips a place to No.4 and Wii Play jumps a position to No.5.

Mario Strikers Charged Football falls two places to No.6 and is followed by PES6 at No.7. Microsoft’s Shadowrun sees a second week climb and enters the Top Ten for the first time at No.10.

Microsoft and Bungie’s Halo 2 for Windows Vista fails to make the All Formats Top 40 and only manages to place at No.5 in the PC Chart.

New releases to watch out for include Colin McRae: DIRT for Xbox 360 and PC, Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer across all formats, Defcon (available for the first time at retail), and Mortal Kombat: Armageddon on Wii.
