Having stormed to the top of the chart last week, Microsoft and Turn 10’s Forza Motorsport 2 holds on at the top for a second week, despite a 34% drop over first week sales.

There’s no change at No.2 and No.3 either, with only 183 units separating Tomb Raider: Anniversary and Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End. Colin McRae is the week’s highest new entry at No.4, but is only able to manage just over half the sales of Forza 2.

Nintendo’s chart presence continues with three titles inside the Top 10: Wii Play at No.5, Brain Training up to No.6 and Mario Strikers Charged Football which slips down the table to No.9. The second highest new entry this week is 2K Games’ Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer, although it should jump up the chart next week as the movie hype builds.

Titles looking to break into the chart next week include FlatOut: Ultimate Carnage (Xbox 360), Armored Core 4 (PS3 and Xbox 360), Kirby Mouse Attack (DS), Metroid Prime Pinball (DS), Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia (Xbox 360 and PC), The Sims 2 Pets (Wii) and Shrek the Third across leading formats.
