It’s hardly a surprise that Final Fantasy XII has entered the chart at No.1. Not only has the series’ last game on the PS2 topped the chart, but it also becomes the fastest selling game in the series. Its dominance of PS2 software sales is mightily impressive, accounting for 53.5% of all full price PS2 sales this week.

Microsoft and Realtime Worlds’ Crackdown for Xbox 360 also got off to a storming start, entering the chart at No.2 and becoming the fourth fastest selling Xbox 360 title.

Five titles from last week’s top ten dive out of the elite group: Supreme Commander falls from No.4 to No.12, Avatar slides eight places to No.14, Little Britain dives to No.18, Lost Planet takes a 12 place drop to No.22 and Battlestations: Midway is in freefall at No.23.

Excite Truck on Wii moves up 15 places to No.21 and also manages to topple Zelda to take the No.1 spot in the Wii chart.
