EA’s Dead Space 2 is spending another week at the top of the All Formats All Prices UK video game chart, fending off competition from FIFA 11, Assassin’s Creed Brotherhood and Black Ops. Sales for the sci-fi horror sequel are down 47 per cent compared to week one.

With no new releases making the Top 10, it was left to the chart old boys to battle for position. Sony’s LittleBigPlanet 2 took the biggest hit, slipping three places to No.5.

Nintendo’s Mario vs Donkey Kong: Mini-Land Mayhem and Mario Sports Mix are the week’s highest new entries, placing at No.11 and No.12 respectively.

Outside of the Top 20 there are chart re-entries for GTA4, Forza 3, Kinect Joy Ride and PES 2011.

With little competition from the new releases, it’s no shock to see Dead Space 2 cling on at the top for a second week, but it might have a tougher ride in the week to come. Namco Bandai is releasing the multi-format sequel Test Drive Unlimited 2 and Kinect exclusive Dr Kawashima’s Body and Brain Exercise, the latter being the first post-launch Kinect title we feel has a genuine chance of chart success.
