Call of Duty: Black Ops has reclaimed the No.1 spot in the All Formats All Prices UK video game chart, pushing FIFA 11 and Just Dance 2 down to No.2 and No.3 respectively.

The only new entry of the week comes from PS3 and PC MMO, DC Universe Online from Sony Online Entertainment. The first MMO on PS3 manages to sneak into the Top 10 at No.10 – No.2 in the PS3 chart and No.4 in the PC list.

Elsewhere Kinect Sports leaps five places to No.5, while Dance Central also climbs from No.17 to No.12.

After a decent start for DC Universe Online it will now be important that strong word of mouth and marketing helps the game continue to sell at a regular pace in order to build a strong player base. After that, the game’s real success will be determined by the number of its paying subscribers.

Friday sees the release of two huge titles for PS3: Mass Effect 2 and LittleBigPlanet 2. Launching two high profile games on the same date will certainly mean sales of each game are somewhat diluted, but we fully expect both titles to challenge for the top spot this time next week.

Square Enix’s Mind Jack is also hitting stores on Friday, and with little competition on Xbox 360 could find a healthy audience.
