A good first week for N3

Despite sales falling some 15%, Cars manages to claim another week at the top of the chart, with the following five titles all as they were last week. Microsoft’s Ninety-Nine Nights makes a new entry at No.8 and continues the trend of any new release Xbox 360 title seeing good first week sales.

Other new entries this week are Reservoir Dogs at No.14, and Madden NFL 07 which debuts at No.37. Madden should see a surge up the chart in a few weeks when the Xbox 360 version hits store shelves.

This week sees the release of Saints Row on the Xbox 360 – a title THQ and Microsoft will be hoping performs up there with the GTA games. Reviews of the title are positive and, as the first game of its type on the Xbox 360, there’s no reason why it shouldn’t enter high up the chart.
