Another week passes and yet again there’s no change in the top three positions, with GTA and New Super Mario Bros. trailing behind Cars for a fourth week running. Cars is showing little sign of dropping from the top spot, outselling GTA: Liberty City by almost 2:1.

Increased television ads for Animal Crossing: Wild World sees it climb seven places to No.9, and THQ’s Monster House also continues to climb, up from No.18 to No.12.

Next week sees the current-gen release of Madden NFL 07, as well as the release of N3: Ninety-Nine Nights on Xbox 360. Both titles should perform well, given the recent drought of high profile new releases.
