505 Games’ Zumba Fitness has claimed its ninth week at the top of the All Formats All Prices UK Video Game chart, its sixth week in succession.
The game saw a five per cent increase in sales week on week, enough to see off Ubisoft’s heavily advertised Call of Juarez: The Cartel which debuted at No.2. Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2 saw a hefty 45 per cent jump over its debut week, climbing four places to No.3. LEGO Pirates of the Caribbean climbed to No.4, followed by Black Ops at No.5 and Dungeon Siege at No.6 – sales up 59 per cent thanks to huge price reductions.
Disney’s Cars 2 is new at No.8, while Namco Bandai’s Earth Defence Force: Insect Armageddon makes its chart entrance at No.15.

With only The Sims 3: Town Life Stuff and a pair of Smurfs games hitting stores on Friday, it’s almost certain Zumba Fitness will claim another week at No.1 this time next week. Increased advertising for the Captain America movie should also help SEGA’s video game bounce back up the chart.
There’s also the possibility that continued price promotions of Call of Juarez: The Cartel, coupled with a strong TV presence, will see it continue to ride high.
