Borderlands 2 claims the UK Video Game All Prices Chart No.1 spot, ahead of F1 2012 at No.2 and PES 2013 at No.3, reports ChartTrack.

Elsewhere, the week’s other new releases are LittleBigPlanet Vita at No.6 and One Piece Pirate Warriors at No.34.

Sleeping Dogs continues to perform well for Square Enix despite being pushed down to No.4 because of the trio of new releases which claimed the top three places.

Other fallers include Namco Bandai’s Tekken Tag Tournament 2 which is down from No.2 to No.8, and EA’s NHL 13 which slumps from No.9 in its debut week to No.36.

And if you thought this was a big week for games, think again – this week sees the release of Blizzard’s World of Warcraft Mists of Pandaria on Tuesday, whilst EA is sure to clean up with FIFA 13 which hits stores on Friday.

The staying power of PES 2013 will be vital for publisher Konami, but the might of FIFA could prove too much for the reinvigorated franchise.
