GfK Chart Track reports that EA and DICE’s Battlefield: Bad Company 2 has entered the All Formats All Prices UK video game chart at No.1, with last week’s chart-topper Heavy Rain sliding down to No.4.

Ubisoft’s Just Dance climbs one place to No.2, followed by SEGA’s Aliens vs Predator at No.3, which is showing great legs after its debut at No.1 a few weeks back. SEGA’s Sonic & SEGA All-Stars Racing is also proving a success, moving up three places to No.5.

The week’s only other new entry of note comes from Square Enix’s Supreme Commander 2, which charted at No.23 based only on PC game sales – the Xbox 360 version hits stores in a few weeks.

Next week we fully expect Final Fantasy XIII to claim the top spot. Not only is the game hugely anticipated, but it has the benefit of a Tuesday launch. Also look out for new entries from THQ’s Dawn of War II Chaos Rising and Ben 10 Alien Force Vilgax Attacks. There’s an outside chance of a Top 20 place for PS3 exclusive Yakuza 3, while Resident Evil 5’s Gold re-release could see the title make a surge back into the chart.
