SEGA’s Alien: Isolation has entered the UK Video Game Chart at No.2 after failing to outsell EA’s FIFA 15.
41 per cent of Alien sales came on PS4, 31 per cent on Xbox One, 14 per cent on Xbox 360 and 10 per cent on PS3.
Monolith and Warner’s Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor drops into third place, followed by Forza Horizon 2 in fourth and Sony’s PS4 exclusive racer DriveClub at No.5. Destiny takes sixth spot, Skylanders Trap Team is new at No.7, NBA 2K15 is eighth, and Sleeping Dogs: Definitive Edition debuts at No.13 with 67 per cent of sales on PS4.

DriveClub coming in at No.5 is much lower than expected, but we don’t know how many copies were sold digitally or how many people are waiting to try out the PS Plus Edition.
We’ve another busy week of new releases, too, with The Evil Within, Borderlands: The Pre-Sequel and F1 2014 all battling for chart supremacy. Bethesda’s The Evil Within is straddling new and old generation systems so has a better chance than the rest of claiming the No.1 spot.
