War Child, a UK-based charity dedicated to helping children affected by war, has launched a new online hub for GameOn. GameOn is a new movement aimed at raising awareness and money through games, developers, and players.

Big developer names in the industry have signed on offering support, including Tim Schafer, Rhianna Pratchett, Kareem Ettouney, and Randy Pitchford.

GameOn encourages people to set up their own gaming based fundraisers, (there’s a funding push on Just Giving right now) as well as partnering with a number of games and devs to raise funds when you buy (including Football Manager 2017). There’s also a yearly event called Armistice to check out.
