THQ has announced that a UFC 2009 Undisputed playable demo is now available to download from Xbox LIVE Marketplace and the PlayStation Store.
In celebration of UFC 97, held last weekend in Montreal, Quebec, the playable demo will allow gamers to sample an exhibition bout with former UFC Light Heavyweight Champion Chuck “The Iceman” Liddell and Mauricio “Shogun” Rua. The demo will also include a portion of the game’s Tutorial Mode.
“Fans around the world have been clamouring for a great UFC videogame for quite some time,” said Dana White, president, UFC. “We are pleased to offer a free sample of UFC 2009 Undisputed featuring two great athletes and competitors, Chuck Liddell and ‘Shogun’ Rua, prior to launch.”
UFC 2009 Undisputed is scheduled for release on May 22 in the UK for Xbox 360 and PS3.
