Ubisoft has announced it has secured the publishing rights for Armored Core for Answer, the latest title in From Software’s mech combat franchise.
The Xbox 360 and PS3 action title will feature a single-player campaign complete with epic boss battles, which for the first time will allow players to cut their way inside colossal mobile battle stations and destroy them from their very core. The decisions players make during their adventure will result in one of three different possible endings to the war.
Additionally, Armored Core for Answer will feature seamless cooperative play with over 30 missions to battle through, plus eight-player multiplayer action with 80 different battlefields to choose from.
The game is also hoping to attract both veteran mech combat gamers and those new to the genre, by offering two control schemes: new intuitive controls for beginners and a full range of controls for experts as was available in previous Armored Core titles.
Armored Core for Answer is scheduled for release in October for Xbox 360 and PS3.
