A printing error relating to the Driver: San Francisco Uplay Passport codes which unlock online multiplayer and the Film Director mode has resulted in many users being unable to activate the content. The result is Ubisoft has scrapped Uplay Passport for the game, making the content free for everyone.

To access the content users must go to the Uplay Passport menu within Driver and either start a 2-day trial which will no longer expire, or purchase a Uplay Passport which will be provided at no cost.

This will then unlock the 11 multiplayer modes and Film Director feature on Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.
