Ubisoft plans to release a demo of upcoming air combat game Tom Clancy’s HAWX, VideoGamer.com has learned.

Speaking to VideoGamer.com at Ubidays last week, Andrei Costin, international product manager at Ubisoft Romania, confirmed plans to release a demo for the game, which is set to challenge the Ace Combat series’ domination of the genre when it comes out for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC this September.

Details, however are thin on the ground. “Yes we plan to release a demo,” Costin said. “I cannot confirm an exact date but we will have for sure a demo.”

We suspect the demo may well end up offering a similar scenario to the playable code shown to press at Ubidays, which saw dog fights over a virtual representation of Rio de Janeiro.
