Ubisoft is finally getting around to fixing a bug that’s been wiping player statistics from The Crew since the game’s launch last year.
The patch, which is due to roll out next Thursday, February 12, will allegedly fix the issue causing stats to wipe or display incorrect data, although it won’t be able to restore any information that’s already been lost.
Shortly after the game’s launch, Ubisoft admitted that The Crew’s servers had been wiping statistics, including the number of miles driven and landmarks visited. The bug did not erase major game data, such as level progress or money earned.
Alongside the stats fix, the new patch will also introduce a brand new elimination-type PvP mode, four new faction missions, and make improvements to the game’s framerate, co-op and AI.
