Reuters reports that Francois Alaux and Herve de Crecy, the directors behind the Oscar-winning animated short “Logorama”, are to create a 20-minute live-action short film for Ubisoft’s upcoming Ghost Recon: Future Soldier.
The short will be a prequel, setting up the story of a squad of US Special Forces. The project has been given a budget of $8 million to $10 million and Tim Sexton, one of the “Children of Men” writers, is also on board.
The Ghost Recon short follows Ubisot’s impressive Assassin’s Creed Lineage, released last year to promote the launch of Assassin’s Creed II.
Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon: Future Solider will be released this holiday season on Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and PC.
