Ubisoft has dropped Thunder Wolves, the XBLA/PSN/PC helicopter shooter announced by the publisher last year.

The title will now be published by Giana Sisters: Twisted Dreams publisher bitComposer Games in the second quarter of 2013.

A Ubisoft representative confirmed to VideoGamer.com this afternoon that the publisher was no longer publishing the game, but did not provide a reason as to why.

Developed by Most Wanted Entertainment, Thunder Wolves was first announced by Ubisoft during the firm’s Digital Days event last September.

The game is a co-op aerial arcade shooter that pits players with the “best and most daring pilots in the world” as they “take to the skies in order to wipe the forces of evil off the map”.
