Ubisoft has been one of the most prolific developers of Wii titles, and had an impressive number of releases in the console’s launch line-up and first few months. However, many of the releases, such as Red Steel, failed to impress critics and public alike.

Speaking to the huge German news magazine Speigel, Ubisoft CEO Yves Guillemot and European head Alain Corre confessed “we made mistakes“, referring to their haste to get Wii games to retail. The company assured Speigel they had learnt from their errors, and would be producing plenty of high quality Wii games in the future.
