Ubisoft has said it fully understands the frustration of gamers eager to play Red Steel 2, but believes the extra development time handed to the Wii action game will result in an improved experience.
“We understand some of you were impatient to play Red Steel 2, but this delay serves one purpose: provide you with the best possible game in the end,” posted Ubisoft community developer on game’s official forum.
“The team asked for more time to be able to polish the game & come with a better overall result,” the post continued. “That way we can ensure the level of quality shown at E3 on the full game.”
Red Steel 2 will now be released in Q1 2010.
