Two Worlds 3 is currently in the concept stage and “scheduled for development over the next 36 months,” TopWare Interactive and developer Reality Pump have announced.

The Two Worlds games have sold over 10 million units worldwide. Further announcements relating to Two Worlds 3 will be made in the coming months.

In the meantime fans can look forward to a major engine update for Two World 2, plus eight new multiplayer maps and two new single-player DLCs – Call of the Tenebrae and Shattered Embrace.

Call of the Tenebrae will be available at the end of Q2 2016 and “focuses on the Hero’s return to Antaloor, where he witnesses the shocking murder of DarPha!”

The updated game engine promises “a much higher level of character and landscape detail, an HD-GUI, in addition to tons of in-game achievements, co-op multiplayer, and lots of new in-game features and upgrades”.
