The two new Gears of War multiplayer maps – revealed earlier this week – are now available to download over Xbox Live.
The 98mb download, titled Multiplayer Map Pack 1, will provide Gears of War players with two free maps: Raven Down, which features a downed Raven helicopter in the middle of a large scale battle with the Locust Horde; and Old Bones, set at Sera’s Capitaline Museums where the Locust Horde has emerged and is destroying the museums brick by brick.
Also released today were a new Gears of War theme and a trailer showing off the two new maps.
At CES earlier this week, Microsoft announced that Gears of War has sold more than 2.7 million units worldwide, widening its lead as the most successful Xbox 360 title to date.
