Bullet-hell shmup developer Cave has launched teaser sites for two new upcoming mobile games.
The first site heralds the existence of DoDonPachi Maximum for Windows Phone 7 – dubbed an exclusive shooter by the teaser site, which also sports an Xbox LIVE logo.
The second title to be revealed is DoDonPachi Blissful Death for iOS. The game is known as DoDonPachi Dai Ou Jou in Japan, and saw Japan-only releases on PlayStation 2 and Xbox 360.
Cave’s last iOS shooter, DoDonPachi Ressurection, scored an 8/10 on VideoGamer.com. “It might be ten times more expensive than the average App Store game, but it’s also a shining example of what a good developer and Apple’s shiny iDevices can achieve if they work together,” we said in the review.
Last year Cave was recognised by Guinness World Records as the most ‘prolific developer of bullet-hell shooters’.
